A sewer camera inspection feeds a waterproof camera through your drain or sewer line to see what is inside.
The camera is attached to a flexible cable and pushed through your cleanout or drain opening. As it travels through the line, it transmits real-time video to a monitor — one we watch together. We’re looking for anything that does not belong: blockages, root intrusion, grease buildup, cracks, corrosion, pipe offsets, collapsed sections, or deterioration.
At Sunburst Environmental, every job starts with a camera inspection. We do not jet a pipe we have not looked at first. The footage is yours to keep — whether we jet or not. It’s your property and your documentation of what was found.
Camera inspections are also used standalone — not just before jetting. Home buyers use them before closing to check sewer line condition. Homeowners with older homes use them proactively to understand what is down there. And when a plumber tells you there is a problem but you want a second opinion, the camera footage is the evidence.
