1. Do you camera inspect before jetting? This should be automatic. If the answer is ‘no’ or ‘only if you pay extra,’ move on.
2. Do I get the footage? The camera inspection video is yours. You should receive it every time, regardless of whether jetting happens.
3. What happens if the camera finds something you cannot fix? A straight answer here tells you a lot about the company’s integrity. They should refer you out rather than charge you for a job they know will not solve the problem.
4. What’s included in the price? Is the camera inspection included? Is there a service call fee? Are there any conditions where the price changes after they’ve started?
5. Do you do pipe repairs? Not a disqualifier either way, but a company that does both jetting and repair has a potential conflict of interest. A jetting-only specialist does not.
