Residential drain jetting in Metro Atlanta typically runs $300–$600, camera inspection included.
That is the honest range for a standard residential job — one sewer lateral or a major drain line, camera inspection before jetting, footage provided. The camera inspection is not a separate charge at Sunburst Environmental. It is part of the job.
What affects the price
Line length — longer lines take more time and equipment. A 60-foot sewer lateral to the street clears faster than a 150-foot run.
Blockage type — light grease buildup clears faster than dense root intrusion or hardened scale. Root-cutting nozzles and heavier-duty technique take more time.
Access — cleanout access is the easiest and fastest. Accessing through a toilet (removing and resetting the toilet) or floor drain adds time and labor.
Residential vs. commercial — commercial lines are typically larger diameter, longer, and have more severe buildup. Commercial jetting starts around $500–$1,000+ depending on scope.
What is included
Every Sunburst Environmental job includes: camera inspection before jetting, the jetting service itself with the appropriate nozzle for the blockage type, a post-jetting camera pass to confirm the result, and the footage from both camera runs — yours to keep.
What is NOT included
Pipe repair or replacement — that is a licensed plumber’s scope. Cleanout installation if you do not have one. Follow-up services for structural problems found during inspection that require a different trade.
How we quote
We quote before we start. When you call, we ask a few questions about the situation — what drains are affected, how long it has been going on, whether you know where the cleanout is. Based on that, we give you a price range. After the camera inspection, if anything changes the scope, we tell you before proceeding. No surprises on the bill.
Is it worth the cost?
Compare the cost of one jetting service against: recurring snaking at $150–$250 per visit that does not solve the underlying buildup, an emergency call on a Saturday when the main line finally blocks completely, or the cost of pipe repair when a problem that showed early warning signs on camera goes unaddressed for years. The camera inspection alone has saved home buyers from inheriting collapsed pipe they would have had to replace.
