Yes — hydro jetting is one of the most effective solutions for persistently slow drains.
A slow drain means the pipe is partially obstructed — there is still flow, but the opening has been narrowed. The cause could be grease buildup, soap scum and hair accumulation, mineral scale, early root intrusion, or a partial physical blockage.
Snaking a slow drain might restore normal flow temporarily by creating a larger opening through the thickest buildup. But if the buildup is coating the pipe walls, it remains after snaking and the drain slows again — sometimes within weeks.
Hydro jetting removes the buildup from the pipe wall, not just punches through it. A camera inspection before jetting shows us what is causing the slowness and confirms the pipe is in good enough condition to jet effectively.
